An air freight forwarder was using a Milwaukee based cartage agent to recover weekly shipments of electrical control panels from MKE and deliver to Iron Mountain, MI. At 225 miles, the forwarder was paying a costly per mile rate to satisfy the next-day delivery requirement and was less than satisfied with the over all level of service.
The forwarder needed a better and more consistent option and discovered our MKE/GRB Linehaul solution. Using this option, the next-day service requirement was consistently met and at about half the cost.
